How the Society is run
Authority flows from the members upward — from the General Meeting, to an elected Management Committee, to designated Trustees.
General Meeting
The supreme authority in all of the Society's affairs — confirming accounts, electing officers, and setting the Society's overall direction.
Management Committee
An elected committee, led by a President, Secretary and Treasurer among other officers, that runs the Society's day-to-day affairs on members' behalf.
Trustees
Designated officers who sign official documents on the Society's business and represent it in formal matters.
Not just a place to save money.
A cooperative society is a practical system for building financial discipline, business opportunities, social protection and leadership development. Members benefit both individually and collectively.
